Cosmograph Daytona
The racing icon
The 116500LN — introduced in 2016 and discontinued in 2023 — was the first modern steel Daytona with a black Cerachrom ceramic bezel. Born from Rolex's sponsorship of the 24 Hours of Daytona, the chronograph lineage traces back to the 1963 reference 6239 made famous by Paul Newman, whose own Daytona sold at auction for $17.8 million in 2017.
